All the context you need to have meaningful conversations with your technical teams and suppliers

Over the past year, I have asked professionals in the charity sector what their main barriers are to being able to improve the supporter experience.

I was anticipating things like not being able to quantify the financial benefits, or lack of internal resources.

I was surprised to learn that one of the top barriers charities report is not having the right tools and technology.

So some colleagues and I set off to try and address this challenge. At first we wanted to do a Which? style guide for the various tools on the market. But the more we talked about it, the more we realised that the output of various tools are entirely dependent on the environment that they are implemented in.

So over the course of many months, we tried to unpick the context required for tools and technologies to thrive.

The results are an analysis of what a charity needs from a cultural, data, and leadership perspective, in order to effectively use technology and tools to improve the supporter experience.

But it isn’t just about the context. In the whitepaper, you can read all about what a MarTech stack is, the various technologies that are most commonplace in MarTech stacks in 2022, as well as some private sector ‘art of the possible’ insights.

Sound interesting? Good news! You can download the whitepaper now!
